[The Infinity Room (All Worlds Edition) by 36](https://astrangelyisolatedplace.bandcamp.com/album/the-infinity-room-all-worlds-edition?ref=unknowndivide.com) ## A record made from one room 36 is the project of Dennis Huddleston, and *The Infinity Room* has a story that explains why it hits so hard. He wrote it while ill health kept him housebound. In his words, his body was stuck in one room, but his mind journeyed to the infinite rooms beyond it. That idea is all over the music: slow, glowing pieces that feel enclosed and endless at the same time, like light moving across a wall over a whole afternoon. It found its people. The album has passed 12 million streams, which is a huge number for patient, beatless music on an independent label, and fans were asking for a repress soon after it first came out. ## What is new in the All Worlds Edition This is not a quick reissue. Dennis went back to the original project files and revisited the mixes, then handed them to Rafael Anton Irisarri, who also mastered the 2016 edition, for a fresh master at his Black Knoll Studio in New York. Same rooms, more air in them. The bigger reveal is the Further Rooms. On the first pressing, these extra pieces were hidden behind a secret URL and password etched into the vinyl runout, a reward for the people who looked closely. Now they sit alongside the main album, and they come to vinyl for the first time. The full edition runs 16 tracks: Room 1 through Room 10, then X1 through X6. The new artwork comes from Davy Evans, whose work first caught the attention of the label and Dennis through a custom 36 video in 2021\. Mixing hands-on techniques with digital experiments, he arrived at a new take on the original orb motif, built for the size of a tri-fold sleeve. ## Formats and preorders The digital edition is out now on the [official Bandcamp page](https://astrangelyisolatedplace.bandcamp.com/album/the-infinity-room-all-worlds-edition?ref=unknowndivide.com). The physical version is a Purple Vinyl Tri-Fold 3LP, catalog number ASIPV006AW, up for preorder now. US and rest of world orders go through the label directly, while UK and EU fans can order through SpaceCadets. Shipping is still to be confirmed, with the label pointing to early 2027, so treat this as a winter treat rather than a holiday gift. ## Our call This one is Surfacing. Anniversary editions often feel like an excuse to sell the same thing twice. This one earns its place: revisited mixes, a new master from the engineer who knows the record best, and the hidden Further Rooms finally out in the open on wax. If you only know 36 from a playlist, start with Room 1 and let the whole thing run. If you already own the 2016 pressing, the X tracks alone make the triple LP worth a look. New to the sound?
