Apple just pushed a major update to Creator Studio. [In a press release today](https://www.apple.com/newsroom/2026/10/apple-creator-studio-adds-powerful-new-ai-features-and-even-more-creative-tools/?ref=unknowndivide.com), October 27, the company detailed new AI features and creative tools across Final Cut Pro, Motion, Pixelmator Pro, Logic Pro, Keynote, Pages, Numbers and Freeform on Mac, iPad and iPhone. The updates land on the App Store this November as a free update for existing subscribers.

## Final Cut Pro and Motion

- **MotionVFX in** [**Final Cut Pro**](https://www.apple.com/final-cut-pro/?ref=unknowndivide.com) **for Mac:** Built-in visual effects, plug-ins, transitions, templates and motion graphics, including tools for rotoscoping, tracking and color grading.
- **Content Hub:** Apple-curated stock video, photos and backgrounds now sit inside Final Cut Pro, so editors can fill gaps without leaving the timeline.
- **Pixelmator Pro round-trip:** Open any image from the timeline in Pixelmator Pro and save changes back automatically. Image generation from text also lands inside the project.
- **Workflow:** More keyframe easing options, the ability to disconnect clips from the primary storyline, and 23 new transcription languages for captions and search.
- **Motion and Compressor:** Motion gets built-in MotionVFX plug-ins, image generation and editing, round-trip Pixelmator Pro, a new Displacement filter and an interactive demo project. Compressor can encode Cinematic mode video from iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone Duo.

## Pixelmator Pro and Logic Pro

[Pixelmator Pro](https://www.apple.com/pixelmator-pro/?ref=unknowndivide.com) adds Generate Fill: circle or select an area, describe the change, and the edit matches lighting, perspective and texture, with Super Resolution to keep generated pixels sharp. Generated elements can merge into existing layers or land as new layers with masking for further edits.

[Logic Pro](https://www.apple.com/logic-pro/?ref=unknowndivide.com) for Mac and iPad gets a Liquid Glass redesign with translucent surfaces and deeper contrast on waveforms and tracks. A new intelligent assistant in beta, powered by Apple-built models and OpenAI, helps start songs, set up vocal tracks from a prompt or refine an active project. The redesigned Browser centralizes loops, instruments and effect patches, with on-device music understanding that analyzes and tags added sounds, plus a Splice library. Stem Splitter can now isolate, replace or rebalance drums without original multitracks. A Sergio George Producer Pack adds Latin jazz and salsa loops, and Voice Memo Studio Sound reduces room noise from supported iPhone recordings before fine-tuning in Logic.

## Keynote, Pages, Numbers and Freeform

Keynote, Pages and Numbers each gain an intelligent assistant in beta that understands document context, built on Apple models and OpenAI. Keynote helps with design and animation, Pages with drafting and restructuring, and Numbers with charts, tables and data. Model Context Protocol support lets external AI agents read content, edit and run automated actions on Mac. The Content Hub adds stock video, new themes and templates arrive, and Keynote introduces Keynote Interchange Format (.keyx), an open JSON-based bundle for tools and agents.

Freeform adds text styles and board background colors. In December it will let you edit images in Pixelmator Pro and generate editable shapes from text.

## When it ships

Creator Studio updates arrive on the [App Store](https://www.apple.com/?ref=unknowndivide.com) this November as a free update for existing subscribers. New subscribers get a one-month free trial, education pricing for college students and educators, three months free with a new Mac or qualifying iPad, and Family Sharing for up to six people. One-time purchase versions of Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Pixelmator Pro, Motion, Compressor and MainStage remain on the Mac App Store, and free versions of Keynote, Pages, Numbers and Freeform stay included with new Apple devices. Check [Apple Creator Studio](https://www.apple.com/apple-creator-studio/?ref=unknowndivide.com) for current pricing and plan details.

Footnotes matter for the AI pieces. The Logic Pro assistant beta needs macOS 27 Golden Gate on an Apple Intelligence Mac and is U.S. English only. Assistants in Keynote, Pages and Numbers need an Apple Intelligence device on iOS 27, iPadOS 27 or macOS 27 or later, also U.S. English. MCP support needs macOS 27 or later.

## Our call

This one is Surfacing. MotionVFX inside Final Cut Pro, Generate Fill in Pixelmator Pro and the Logic Browser rebuild are the practical wins for people already in the suite. The assistants are beta and English-only for now, so treat them as early access rather than the whole story. If you edit video or make music on Apple gear, November is the month to watch.
