Two American denim houses that usually stay in their own lanes just shared a pattern table. [Imogene + Willie and Wrangler](https://imogeneandwillie.com/pages/i-w-x-wrangler?ref=unknowndivide.com) have opened a three-capsule collaboration, every piece patterned, cut and sewn in the United States from domestic fabrics. Capsule 1 is live now. Capsule 2 drops October 24\. Capsule 3 lands November 7\. If you have been waiting for a denim collab that talks about mills and archives instead of logos, this is the one.

## The White Oak jeans

The center of Capsule 1 is selvage denim from Cone Mills' White Oak mill, the kind of deadstock that denim people talk about in a lower voice. The men's [10MW](https://imogeneandwillie.com/products/i-w-x-wrangler-10mw-white-oak-selvage?ref=unknowndivide.com) revives a Wrangler fit that the brand produced for only a single year in 1964, paired with that White Oak cloth, and lists at $295\. The women's [10WW](https://imogeneandwillie.com/products/i-w-x-wrangler-10ww-white-oak-selvage?ref=unknowndivide.com) is a high-rise cut in 13 oz Cone Mills selvage, also $295\. Both are the kind of jeans you buy once and wear into a map of your own creases.

Beside them sits the [studio tee](https://imogeneandwillie.com/products/i-w-x-wrangler-studio-tee-m?ref=unknowndivide.com) at $125, the soft counterweight to rigid selvage. Imogene + Willie says the wider project also pulls in deadstock Cone Mills chambrays and denim and twills from Mt. Vernon Mills, with each capsule highlighting a different slice of Wrangler's archive. That means Capsule 1 is not the whole story; it is the opening argument.

## Why the collab hits different

Imogene + Willie has always framed made-in-USA production as a core rule, not a marketing line. Wrangler, for its part, is the blueprint brand for a certain American jean. Putting those two stories in one garment, cut at home from leftover mill cloth, is less a hype drop and more a ceremony, which is exactly how Imogene + Willie describes it on the project page. Stock will move. Selvage deadstock does not restock like a basic five-pocket, and the Nashville and Austin shops are part of the same story as the online store.

If you already own Imogene + Willie's house fits, treat these as archive editions rather than replacements for your daily pair. If you are new to the brand, the 10MW and 10WW are a clean way in: historic Wrangler block, serious American cloth, no costume-y branding.

## What to do next

If Capsule 1 still has your size, decide on fit first (10MW vs 10WW), then watch October 24 for the next archive pull. Capsule 3 on November 7 closes the trilogy, so the window to collect the full run is short.
