## Ashes after Here

Cimbrelius frames Foreverness as the other side of 2024's Here, which appeared on sound in silence. Where Here was born of longing, he writes that Foreverness is the filigree embers ascending after acceptance. The note on the Bandcamp page is short and exacting: ashes of acceptance falling to the Earth on one side, ascending embers on the other. Music and lyrics are by Cimbrelius, with mastering by Brock Van Wey, whose own work in deep ambient circles makes him a natural fit for a record this patient.

The cover is an original painting by Nikita Coulombe, soft layered color that matches the album's slow temperatures. Catalogued as LILA-LET3, Foreverness sits inside Cimbrelius's own imprint rather than a larger ambient label, which keeps the release close to the artist and to the listeners who have followed his catalog across aliases and small presses.

## Six tracks and a video

The record runs six pieces: "all endless roads," "ashes of blind wishes," "nothing here will remain," "if you follow," "on the mountainside," and "disappearing in the embrace." Pre-order buyers already had "if you follow," which ships with a video on the Bandcamp page, and the remaining tracks unlock with the full album on release day. Titles alone sketch a landscape of roads, mountainsides and embraces, the kind of imagery Cimbrelius has used for years without tipping into new-age cliche.

Bandcamp also lists a listening party for release day, a shared playthrough that has become a quiet ritual for ambient and experimental albums that do not get playlist blitzes. If you want company for the first listen, that is the place to be. If you want the album alone, the digital download is ready whenever you are.

## LILA's longer view

Cimbrelius notes that part of LILA's income from releases is forwarded to organizations working on the longer adventure of life together. It is a small ethical frame that fits the soft pace of the music without turning the album page into a manifesto. Foreverness is still, first, a record to live with through a weekend afternoon or a late night at low volume.

## Our call

This one is Surfacing. Cimbrelius has a deep catalog of ambient and modern classical work, and Foreverness sounds like a quiet release-day album for people who want something carefully made rather than another playlist filler. A Bandcamp-first drop with a painting for a cover and a listening party is the kind of Music post that holds up after the trending charts move on.
