Needles has spent the fall teaming up with just about everyone, and its newest partner is the label **ts(s)**. On November 3, Nepenthes [announced the NEEDLES x ts(s) collaboration](https://nepenthes.co.jp/feature/needles-x-tss-fall-winter-2026/?ref=unknowndivide.com) for Fall/Winter 2026, built around one idea: a new tracksuit cut from a classic original tweed, a rough woven wool cloth, chosen to recall British country and hunting dress. The pieces go on sale Saturday, November 7.

## What is in the collaboration

The lineup is short and tight. There is a Track Jacket, a matching wide track pant, a Bucket Hat, a Casquette, which is a soft cap with a short brim, and an Unpair Sock. That last name is a hint: in the lookbook the socks show up in two different colors on the same pair of feet, green on one and navy on the other.

The jacket is where the two ideas meet. It keeps the zip front, ribbed cuffs and ribbed hem of a sports track top, then adds two big buttoned flap pockets on the chest, the kind you would expect on a shooting jacket. In the brown version the cloth is a herringbone check, a weave with a zigzag pattern, with fine orange and green lines running through it and a tonal Needles butterfly embroidered on the chest. A second version comes in a cooler grey and olive check, with navy sleeve panels and a navy stripe running down the arm.

The track pant goes wide and long, with deep cargo pockets on the thigh and a stripe down the side of the leg. The butterfly logo turns up again on the pant and on the cap, stitched in blue. Worn together with the hats, the look lands somewhere between a football terrace and a muddy country estate, which seems to be the point.

## The lookbook

The images were shot by photographer Akira Yamada, with hair and make-up by Masaki Takahashi, also known as Jumbo, and modeled by Adeleye and Pim. The setting does a lot of work: red brick, heavy stone blocks and wet pavement, which lets the tweed read as something with real weather in its history rather than a costume. A few frames move under a steel bridge, and close-ups linger on the herringbone, the butterfly stitching and the odd socks.

## A busy fall for Needles

The ts(s) release caps a long run of Needles collaborations announced on the Nepenthes site this season. Needles has already worked with Sorel, with Tailor Toyo and Sun Surf, with A Tribe Called Quest, with [Pendleton](https://nepenthes.co.jp/feature/needles-x-pendleton-fall-winter-2026/?ref=unknowndivide.com) on a collaboration out October 24, and with [Woburn Walk](https://nepenthes.co.jp/feature/woburn-walk-x-needles-fall-winter-2026/?ref=unknowndivide.com) on a bondage style tracksuit that went on sale October 31\. The ts(s) take goes the opposite direction, slower and more rural, built on cloth rather than graphics.

## Where and when

The NEEDLES x ts(s) pieces go on sale Saturday, November 7\. Nepenthes lists four stores in Japan to contact for product details: NEPENTHES TOKYO, NEPENTHES OSAKA, NEPENTHES HAKATA and SOUTH2 WEST8 SAPPORO. ## Why it matters

This one is Surfacing. Tracksuits keep coming back in Needles collaborations this season, and each partner bends the idea a different way. Cutting it from a hunting tweed is the most unexpected of the bunch, and it turns a sports staple into something that looks like it belongs on a long walk in the cold.
