SNAP!, the dance project built by producers Michael Münzing and Luca Anzilotti, credited on their records as Benito Benites and John "Virgo" Garrett III, with rapper Turbo B. out front, has quietly put one of its early 90s singles back in circulation. A four-track [Colour of Love EP](https://music.apple.com/us/album/colour-of-love-ep/6812237209?ref=unknowndivide.com) landed on streaming services on September 25, 2026, and it is now sitting at the top of the group's catalog as its latest release.

If you are hoping for brand-new remixes, this is not that. It is better described as a reissue. Every mix on it comes from the original 1991 era, and nobody new is credited.

## What is on the EP

- Colour of Love (Massive Version)
- The Colour of Love (Smoove Version)
- Colour of Love (String Mix)
- Colour of Love (Studio B)

The release carries a 2026 copyright line from BMG Rights Management, which also holds the rights to the classic SNAP! albums. In the Apple Music listing, the Massive Version keeps its original date of December 2, 1991, while the other three tracks are dated to this new release. The cover is the same red artwork fans will remember, with Turbo B. wrapped in tattooed snakes and the SNAP! logo in the corner.

## Where these mixes come from

The original Colour of Love CD maxi single came out on Logic Records in 1991 and carried the Massive, String and Smoove mixes, plus a shorter Massive 7 inch edit that is not on the new EP. The Studio B mix first showed up the same year on a limited DJ edition double 12 inch, also on Logic. On all of those sleeves, the production and mixing credit reads simply SNAP!, which means the mixes on this EP were made by Münzing and Anzilotti themselves.

The sleeves also tell you who wrote it. The music is credited to Benites and Garrett, the duo's studio names, and the lyrics to Durron Butler, the real name of Turbo B., along with vocalists Penny Ford and Thea Austin. The cover photo of Turbo B. was shot by Mats Cordt, with tattoo illustration by Kevin Russell. Turbo B. even names himself in the verse, calling himself MC Turbo B. and his own man.

## The record around it

The Massive Version is also track two on *The Madman's Return*, right after the title track, on the same album that carries "Rhythm Is a Dancer." The album credits add one more name, guitarist Andy Plöcher, on the Massive Version. It is a slower, warmer song than "The Power," with a message about love having no colour, and the longer mixes give that groove room to breathe.
