Searches for the U2 tour 2027 are climbing this afternoon, and the band just gave those queries a real target. On October 15, U2 locked the first dates of Carnaval De Luz presents: The Greatest Show On Earth World Tour, released a brand new single of the same name, and pointed fans at U2.com ticket presales that open Monday, October 19. The forthcoming sixteenth studio album, Carnaval De Luz, is due November 13, and the buying window for limited vinyl is already open on the official store.
The Greatest Show On Earth World Tour, first stops
Per the official U2.com announcement, the tour opens in Mexico City at Estadio GNP Seguros on February 23 and 26, 2027, then hits Sao Paulo at Estadio MorumBIS on March 10 and 12 and Buenos Aires at Estadio River Plate on March 23 and 25. Those three cities are the only Latin American stops next year. Support on the announced dates is Beck. Additional 2027 dates for Europe and North America are still to come, with a return to Ireland in the works. The band's tours page is the hub for updates.
This is U2's first stadium run since The Joshua Tree Tour closed at Mumbai's DY Patil Stadium on December 15, 2019. The set list will draw from across the catalogue, and the statement from Bono, Edge, Adam and Larry frames the show as a dare to themselves: a bit of showman, a bit of shaman, unreasonable guitar, bass and drums, and tunes you can hold onto.

The Greatest Show On Earth, the song
The new track is out now and runs five minutes and 34 seconds. It is the third single from Carnaval De Luz, co-written by U2 and Brian Eno, and the Anton Corbijn video was shot in the California desert. Stream it via the official link or the embed above. What to preorder before November 13
- The Mirror Maker edition. The announcement highlights a limited Mirror Maker vinyl: heavyweight black vinyl in a premium silver foil board gatefold with full-colour artwork and a mirror-board finish, while supplies last.
- The standard pressings. Standard black vinyl and a dark blue marble vinyl are live on the store, alongside deluxe vinyl and CD boxsets, a cassette, Blu-ray and fan-club editions. Use the Carnaval De Luz hub to preorder or pre-save everything in one place.
The album tracklist runs twelve songs, from Go (Carnaval De Luz) through Torn (featuring Dolly Parton), with The Mirror Maker featuring Rosalía and collaborations from Martin Garrix and Daniel Lanois elsewhere on the record. It is U2's first studio album in nine years, and the band's fiftieth year includes twenty four new songs across the project.
Touring hard this season? Pair the U2 news with Staind's Ghosts single and 2027 North American dates, and keep an eye on the Record Store Day Black Friday 2026 list for limited vinyl worth chasing the same week the album lands.
