AURALEE, the Tokyo label built around original fabrics and quiet cuts, is pairing with Stockholm menswear house Salon C. Lundman for the first time. Their collaborative capsule, titled A Conversation, launches on October 24, 2026, exclusively at Dover Street Market Ginza as part of the store's OPEN HOUSE program. Salon C. Lundman's own site lists the Ginza presentation across October 23 and 24. The clothes will not be sold through AURALEE's online store.
According to AURALEE's official announcement, designers Ryota Iwai and Christoffer Lundman have been in dialogue for several years. The project began with a single look and grew into a short run that mixes AURALEE's fabrics and signature pieces with Salon C. Lundman's tailoring and detailing. Quantities are deliberately small.
What is in the capsule
AURALEE's product list for A Conversation is short and specific. The single-breasted notched lapel jacket is cut in 100 percent baby camel, in Top Charcoal, in European sizes 46 and 48. Double pleat trousers come in 100 percent wool, in brown stripe or charcoal stripe, also in 46 and 48. A double collar shirt pairs a cotton and silk body with a cotton collar, in three colourways, sizes S to L.
Outerwear is a cashmere wool mosser soutien collar coat: 70 percent wool and 30 percent cashmere, in brown or Top Charcoal, size 48. Knitwear covers a baby cashmere pull-over (pull-over, often shortened as P/O) in pink or blue, sizes 4 and 5; a baby cashmere knit cap in light yellow or black; and a baby camel stole in natural brown or black. A seamless long-sleeve tee in 100 percent cotton, white or Top Beige, closes the list. Official prices and stock notes live on AURALEE's announcement page.
Portraits you can take home
The capsule is also a portrait project. AURALEE photographed different people in the same look to show how the clothes change with the wearer. At Dover Street Market Ginza, large-format posters of twelve individuals go up in stacks as an installation. Visitors can take a poster home while supplies last.
AURALEE Autumn Winter 2026 arrives October 16
Separately, AURALEE confirmed that selected Autumn Winter 2026 menswear and womenswear pieces land in its directly operated stores and on the online store from Friday, October 16. The drop includes wool herringbone duffle and shawl collar coats, super fine wool mosser coats, baby camel flannel pieces, selvedge faded heavy denim, and a full baby cashmere knit group.
