Inside the release
According to the notes, Home is built from ambient guitar, acoustic sounds and quiet vocals, and it looks back at the places that shape a person. The house on the cover is Derrick Stembridge's childhood home. The notes mention the title track, Never Is Too Late, and the closer, How Your Darkness Found Me and Became the Light.
From the release notes
The notes on the EP's Bandcamp page set the scene: "Built from layers of ambient guitar, acoustic resonance, and hushed vocal presence, Derrick Stembridge traces the invisible thread between who we were and who we become when we finally face the places that shaped us. Each sound feels like a photograph slowly fading back into color. The house on the cover his childhood home becomes both setting and symbol: a mirror held to time, a place that remembers everything, even when we don't."
Later, the notes add: "Home breathes with quiet grace; Never Is Too Late opens a doorway through reflection; and How Your Darkness Found Me and Became the Light closes the collection in luminous stillness the moment when understanding replaces distance, and what once felt lost becomes whole again."
