This Drifting in Silence interpretation allows Stembridge's multi-timbred guitar work to rise to the fore, embedded and informed by, but separate from the drifting aethers of keyboard. The result is a translucent airiness that, rather than remaining lost in the chiaroscuro of self-reflection, illuminates it from within."
