From the release notes
The notes on the album's Bandcamp page set the scene: "This album represents the pinnacle of her artistic journey, weaving together the threads of experimental electronic, dark ambient, and noise into a rich tapestry of sound. Through The Opposite of Light, H-M O embarks on an exploratory journey from the depths of darkness to the zenith of light, acknowledging the intricate dance between these two extremes."
Later, the notes add: "It's a journey that showcases H-M O's ability to blend different musical styles, from the avant-garde to the primal, creating a unique auditory experience that challenges and comforts in equal measure. The album is a collection of moments, each track a story unto itself, yet all interconnected in the grand narrative of The Opposite of Light."
