PUMA and JIL SANDER have released their AW26 (autumn and winter 2026) collection, and this time it goes beyond shoes. The official announcement calls it the third chapter of the revived partnership and the first time it has extended into apparel. The drop centers on a reworked T7 tracksuit and two collaborative sneakers, the Speedcat and the Suede. It went live today, October 23, at 1 PM CEST (Central European Summer Time), which was 7 AM Eastern, at JIL SANDER and PUMA stores and online at jilsander.com and puma.com. Select stockists follow on October 24.

A partnership that started in 1998

This pairing has a longer history than most sneaker collaborations. In 1998, Jil Sander teamed up with PUMA to turn the brand's football lace ups into luxury leather sneakers, and that idea carried through several collections. The two houses brought the partnership back in October 2025 under JIL SANDER creative director Simone Bellotti, starting with a premium leather KING AVANTI, then the K-STREET in April 2026. PUMA describes this new release as a fresh look at three of its archetypes, the T7 tracksuit, the Speedcat and the Suede, seen through Bellotti's eye.

The T7 tracksuit in wool

The T7 dates back to 1968, when it became PUMA's first apparel line. Its name comes from the 7 centimetre Formstrip, the brand's signature side stripe. JIL SANDER gives it a new shape: a boxy track jacket and tapered track pants made from a bi stretch wool, meaning it stretches in two directions, developed only for JIL SANDER. PUMA calls the fabric fluid but structured, breathable and naturally thermo regulating. The color is club navy, also developed exclusively with the house, and the details include a brushed silver zip puller and a co branded T7 woven label. A relaxed, boxy long sleeve tee in PUMA white, made from a blend of cotton and recycled polyester, rounds out the capsule.

Speedcat and Suede

The Speedcat grew out of motorsport, and this version is a reissue of the original JIL SANDER and PUMA archive design. Bellotti added an artisanal leather heel detail and a full leather lining. It comes in all black and all white leather.

The Suede, a PUMA staple for more than five decades, is made here in premium leather instead of its usual suede. It sits on a refined outsole, hides its laces inside the construction and has a full leather lining. It comes only in white.

The campaign

Meadow Walker and Barry Lawson front the campaign, photographed by Guen Fiore and filmed by Lisa Rovner. Bellotti says he wanted to slow everything down, picturing a green field left to grow wild with tall grass and wildflowers, and placing the two models in it dressed as if they had just stepped off a city street. The result, in his words, is a still moment suspended between city and nature.

Our call

This one is Surfacing. The wool T7 is the piece to watch. Turning PUMA's oldest piece of clothing into a tailored club navy set is the kind of quiet upgrade JIL SANDER does well, and the archive Speedcat gives the shoe a real link back to 1998 instead of a simple logo swap. If you want the cleanest single pick, the white Speedcat, with its blue jewel sole, is it.
