Alexa Chung has been everybody's style reference for years. Now Reformation has made it official. Reformation x Alexa Chung, her collaboration with the LA label, is live now: a 30-piece collection built from original designs that Reformation says were inspired by her own closet.
Reformation's pitch is cheeky and accurate. Chung is "probably your muse's muse," so the brand "opted for no degrees of separation." Translation: instead of a mood board that borrows her look, you get the look straight from the source.
What's in the drop
The collection page reads like Chung's greatest hits. There is tailoring with a vintage edge, slinky going-out dresses, knitwear and a couple of pieces with real personality. Here are the US prices we saw on Reformation's site:
- Slogan Tee, $78
- 20's Vintage Top, $188, and the Dude Shirt, $198
- Cocktail Dress and Daisy Dress, $248 each
- Ghost Dress and the Carrie Set, $298 each
- Pony Slipper in Dalmatian haircalf, $298
- Pepo Jacket, $348
- Radziwill Silk Dress, $398
- Legacy Gown and Valentine Coat, $428 each
- Nora Sweater, $448
- Patti Leather Skirt in distressed coffee, $568
That is a real spread, from an easy entry tee to a statement leather skirt. The names do some work too. A silk dress called Radziwill and a slipper in Dalmatian haircalf tell you exactly which kind of old-school glamour Chung was pulling from.
Why it lands
Celebrity collabs usually fail one of two ways. Either the famous person barely touched the clothes, or the clothes are so specific to that person that nobody else can wear them. Chung's whole appeal has always been that her style looks borrowed and lived in: a men's shirt, a slip dress, flat shoes, a coat that looks like it came from a parent's closet. That is easy to copy and hard to fake, which makes her the rare muse whose taste actually scales.
Reformation is a smart match for that. The brand built its name on vintage-feeling dresses, and its sustainability messaging is part of the deal. The footer line on its site says it all: "Being naked is the #1 most sustainable option. We're #2." Pairing that with a designer whose look is rooted in thrift and vintage makes sense on paper and, judging by the campaign, on the body too.
The campaign
The shoot leans into the mood: Chung in a strapless purple satin dress, dark sunglasses, pointed heels, sprawled across a leopard-print armchair under a gilded mirror. It is the kind of image that sells a whole collection in one frame, which is why we are running it up top.
Should you move fast?
Reformation has not said this is a limited run. But collabs with a name this big tend to thin out quickly in common sizes, so if one piece has your name on it, do not wait for a restock that may never come.

Everyone has been dressing like Alexa Chung for years. Now there is a label that says so.
