The notes on the EP's Bandcamp page set the scene: "Forbidden Blessings begins in shadow a low, resonant drone stretched across a desolate expanse. From that stillness, rhythm emerges. Slow. Measured. Like a procession into something vast and unknowable. The drums don't lead. They pull dragging the piece forward with a pulse that feels inevitable, almost ritualistic. Each beat lands like a distant signal, marking time in a place where time has already collapsed."
Later, the notes add: "This is not melody. Not narrative. It's motion. Sound as gravity. A march toward whatever waits in the void, not with fear but with full awareness of the descent. Forbidden Blessings doesn't resolve. It endures."
