Kith for Salomon Winter 2026 hits globally tomorrow, and it is the strongest trail shoe lineup the partnership has put out yet. Ronnie Fieg and Salomon are bringing three silhouettes: a brand new XT-4K Mid, the return of the XT-VYGR 2 and a Kith exclusive take on the XT-4 OG, all in colors pulled from the Kith Winter 2026 palette.
XT-4K Mid: the new one
The headline shoe is the XT-4K Mid, which takes the XT-4K that Kith and Salomon released earlier and rebuilds it with a mid-cut. The upper mixes mesh with synthetic overlays, Kith branding runs along the lateral side, and UV artwork sits on the medial side. The signature XT-4 tooling stays underneath, so it still reads like the trail runner everyone knows, just with a taller, more winter ready proportion. It comes in Black, Green Gaze and Olive Night.
XT-VYGR 2 returns
After debuting this spring, the XT-VYGR 2 is back in a seasonal colorway. This is the most Fieg design of the three, a silhouette he drew from the Salomon archive. TPU and ripstop make up the upper with heatmelt overlays on top, a hex camo print covers the toe, and a ripstop shroud hides the laces for a clean, sealed look. For Winter 2026 it arrives in Dark Navy, Dusty Orchid and Transparent, with Kith branding on the tongue and footbed.
XT-4 OG, Kith exclusive
Rounding out the drop is the XT-4 OG, Salomon's recognizable classic, kept true to its original build with synthetic overlays over mesh underlays. Kith's version comes in Maroon Banner, Nocturne and Knockout Pink, finished with custom Kith branding on the tongue and footbed. If you like your Salomons loud, Knockout Pink is the pair to watch.
How the release works
The collection went live early, exclusively at the new Kith Vancouver flagship on Friday, October 23, to celebrate the store's opening. Kith App drawings opened the same day and close tonight, Sunday, October 25, at 11:59 PM. Voyage Loyalty Members and Kith Vancouver got early access.
The global release is Monday, October 26 at 11AM regional time on Kith.com and the Kith App, plus Kith shops worldwide. If you missed the drawing, that Monday drop is your shot. The Kith for Salomon collection page is where the pairs will show up.
Our call
This one is Surfacing. Kith and Salomon keep finding new angles on the same trail runner DNA, and a mid-cut XT-4K is a smart move for winter. The XT-VYGR 2 is the sleeper of the three, with the shrouded laces and camo toe giving it a look nothing else in the drop has. Set an alarm for Monday morning.
