The notes on the album's Bandcamp page set the scene: "Beautiful Chaos of Truth is the latest full-length release from Drifting In Silence, the ambient project of composer Derrick Stembridge. For nearly two decades, Stembridge has shaped quiet into form, crafting immersive soundscapes built from stillness, space, and subtle motion. This isn't ambient as background. It's ambient as presence. A system of sound that unfolds in low, slow waves, dissolving, dispersing, then returning as something altered."
Later, the notes add: "Melodies flicker, then vanish. Everything moves gently here. Nothing insists. In this brief and bewildering drift, something deeper emerges: a spectral fingerprint made of memory, motion, and the things we can't quite name. These aren't just soundscapes. They're fragments of something long passed or possibly still unfolding."
