Expressive E just handed Osmose players two classic engines with modern hands. The GForce Collection is live, bundling the MAP Expressive Suite and the Prophet 5 Expressive Suite. Each suite pairs the official GForce plugin with 250 exclusive MPE presets written by Expressive E, so the full collection puts 500 expressive patches under your fingers.

GForce Prophet 5 Expressive Suite

The Prophet 5 side is the Sequential-partnered software instrument from GForce, dressed with Expressive E's decade of MPE sound design. Official copy calls it the most authentic Prophet 5 experience available in a high-resolution interface, with a tagged patch browser, full MPE compatibility for expressive performance, and comprehensive MIDI CC mapping throughout. If you already think in Prophet language, the suite is built to let aftertouch, slide and pressure reshape those analog-style voices instead of freezing them as static presets.

That Sequential partnership matters for players who want the official software instrument rather than a lookalike. The suite keeps the browser and mapping habits of a modern soft synth while opening every voice to per-note expression on Osmose or any MPE controller.

MAP Expressive Suite for Osmose

MAP is the deeper explorer of the pair. Expressive E frames it as GForce MAP's modular-leaning synthesis plus 250 MPE presets, with multimode and five-band resonant EQ, a generative polyphonic arpeggiator, and performative XY pad macros aimed at Osmose. Every preset in the collection is designed to unlock the instrument's three-dimensional keybed and per-note control. Add the collection inside Ctrl-e and both suites show up as a single expressive library, so you can jump from Prophet-style polyphony into MAP's XY exploration without leaving the same software shelf.

Where to get the GForce Collection

Start on the GForce Collection page, then open the individual Prophet 5 and MAP suite pages for demos and specs. Pair it with Osmose if you want the full three-axis keybed story, and watch the second official clip, Expressive E x Gforce, for the performance angle. Check the maker's store for current bundle options rather than hunting screenshots elsewhere.

For producers already deep in soft synths, the Collection is less about replacing a favorite analog model and more about giving those engines Osmose-native articulation. Pressure can open filters, slide can morph MAP's XY macros, and the 500-preset library means you are not starting from a blank bank when the keybed invites a new gesture. That is the practical pitch: classic engines, modern hands, one cart.

Why it matters

This one is Surfacing. Licensing Sequential's official Prophet 5 software into an Osmose-first MPE suite is a real bridge between classic polysynth vocabulary and modern expressive controllers. Stack it next to the monitoring drop in Steven Slate Horizon One / VSX 8 / MSX, the pedal lab note on Old Blood Noise Endeavors Iota, and the analog percussion hit Dreadbox Alecto if you are filling out a late-year studio cart.
