Horror Dadz Productions has put out the official trailer for No Witnesses, its found-footage horror feature about a young woman who vanishes from a rural Illinois farmhouse. The trailer went live on the company's YouTube channel on October 1, 2026, runs a little over two minutes, and ends on a simple line: coming soon. No theatrical or streaming date is attached yet.
What it is about
The official synopsis on the trailer page is built like a missing-person bulletin. Hannah Jones (Berkeley Slightom) relocates to an isolated farmhouse in rural Illinois looking for a fresh start. On August 4, 2024, she disappears. An extensive police search turns up zero leads, suspects, evidence, or witnesses. The film stays inside the footage she left behind, so the audience is watching the days that lead up to that blank space.
Director and writer Joshua Brucker frames it as cult-flavored found footage rather than a straight procedural. Two earlier teasers from the same channel lean on locked doors, night interiors, and the sense that the house is no longer empty.
Cast and company
Slightom leads as Hannah. Hunter Nino and Otis B. Dreds co-star, and Brucker appears on screen as well. The project sits under Horror Dadz Productions, the independent Illinois outfit that has been putting out found-footage features and series through its own YouTube channel. Gray Sky Pictures and Echo Cell Productions are listed as co-producers on trade databases; the maker's own trailer and site are the sources that matter for dates and status.
Dates so far
- June 18, 2026: first teaser trailer released on the Horror Dadz YouTube channel.
- July 17, 2026: second teaser trailer released.
- October 1, 2026: official trailer released; description still says coming soon.
There is no ticket link, no streamer window, and no distributor named on the official pages yet. For now the film lives as a finished pitch: trailer, teasers, and the company site's coming-soon banner.
That "coming soon" line is doing real work. Indie found-footage often lands on Tubi, festival slots, or a quiet VOD drop months after the trailer peaks, and Horror Dadz has used its own channel as both a distributor and a proof of concept for earlier titles. Until a date sticks to the official site, the right move is to treat the trailer as the product: watch it, follow the channel, and ignore third-party calendars that invent a street date.
Our call
Found-footage disappearances work when the camera feels like evidence, not a movie. No Witnesses is betting on that mood, and the official trailer keeps the story close to Hannah's own recordings instead of cutting away to a news desk. If you track low-budget horror that still shoots like a case file, watch the trailer and wait for the release window to land on the Horror Dadz site.
