On has found a collaborator that suits its quieter side. The Swiss brand and Sky High Goods have teamed up on the Cloud Low Waterproof SHG, a low, sealed up shoe built for wet grass, muddy paths and city rain. On's own product page lists it in men's and women's sizing and marks it as coming soon, so this is the moment to look before it lands.
The shoe
On describes it simply as a waterproof shoe by On x Sky High Goods. The shape is low and clean, with a smooth, almost moc like upper, a pull tab at the heel and a chunky, lugged sole that wraps up at the toe. It looks less like a running shoe and more like something you would keep by the back door for all weather errands, which is exactly the point of a farm partner.
Underneath, it runs on Double Helion superfoam, which On says delivers elevated cushioning, stability and all day comfort. The outsole uses Missiongrip, On's traction system that pairs grippy patterns with a specialized rubber compound for hold on mixed surfaces.
