The Pokémon Happy Meal is officially coming back, and collectors already have a date circled. McDonald's confirmed that the new Pokémon Happy Meal lands at participating McDonald's restaurants in the United States on November 10, 2026, with three boxes to find, 15 toys to chase and two Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) cards packed in with every collectible. The announcement went up on the official McDonald's account on Thursday, and the hunt for a full set starts in under two weeks.
This is the part that has card people paying attention. This run pairs a physical toy with a pair of cards every single time, so every order adds to two collections at once.
What is in the Pokémon Happy Meal
McDonald's kept the official line short: three boxes, 15 toys, two cards with every collectible. The key art fills in the rest.
- The boxes: the lead design turns the classic Happy Meal box into a winking Pikachu, ears and all.
- The toys: each toy is a miniature Happy Meal box shaped like a Pokémon. The official artwork shows Eevee, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Charmander, Umbreon, Piplup, Rowlet and Sprigatito among the lineup, each with the little golden handle on top.
- The cards: two Pokémon TCG cards ride along with every toy. The artwork shows a Pikachu card and a Palafin card among them.
The fine print matters if you are planning a run at the full set: the meal is at participating McDonald's for a limited time, while supplies last, with one toy per Happy Meal. Order through the regular McDonald's Happy Meal menu in restaurant or in the McDonald's app.
When the Pokémon Happy Meal reaches each country
The United States gets the date of November 10. The official rollout chart from McDonald's spreads the rest of the world across the next few months:
- November 2026: Australia, Canada, Fiji, France, New Zealand, Spain and the United States.
- December 2026: a long list across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia, including Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, South Africa and the United Arab Emirates.
- January 2027: much of Latin America, including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Mexico, plus Italy, Israel, the Philippines and Thailand.
- February 2027: Ireland and the United Kingdom.
How to play it
Go early. Limited Happy Meal toys tend to thin out fastest in the first days, and the cards are the piece most collectors will want to keep sealed and sorted. If the cards pull you into the wider hobby, the official Pokémon TCG site is the place to learn the game and the sets, and Pokémon.com carries the rest of the franchise news.

Our call
This one is Surfacing. A toy plus two trading cards in every box, 15 designs and a hard limited window is exactly the kind of drop that sells through in a weekend. Mark November 10, plan your stops, and do not wait for week two.
