Needles and A Tribe Called Quest have made a Fall Winter 2026 collection together, and it goes on sale Saturday, October 17. Nepenthes, the Tokyo company behind Needles, published the lineup on its official feature page on October 9: four pieces, all in the group's red, black and green.
The four pieces
- B.B. Jacket, a black varsity-style jacket with striped red and green rib trim. The back carries a large embroidered patch of the cover art from the group's 1991 album The Low End Theory, title included. Nepenthes lists it at ¥77,000.
- Roll Neck Cardigan, a snap-front knit in jagged red, green and black stripes, with a round Needles butterfly patch marked ATCQ (the group's initials) on the chest. Listed at ¥107,800.
- Track Jacket, black, with the red and green side stripes Needles is known for and a circular A Tribe Called Quest logo embroidered across the back. Listed at ¥29,700.
- Track Pant, the matching black pant with the same stripes and a small butterfly mark embroidered near the hip. Listed at ¥24,200.
Those are the official Nepenthes prices in Japanese yen. The page does not list sizes, and it points readers to the stores for product details.
The look
The campaign was photographed by Akira Yamada and styled by Shota Iigaki, with hair and make-up by Katsuyoshi Kojima of TRON. Models Felix and Kenzo wear the pieces against flat red and green backdrops, which is exactly the right call: the colors are the whole idea. The key art pairs the Needles butterfly with the group's circular logo above the words Fall Winter 2026.
Track sets are Needles' calling card. Here the track pieces stay quiet and black, and the cardigan and the varsity back do the shouting. The group's own official store lists The Low End Theory in its discography, so the patch is a straight line back to the source.
Where and when
The collection goes on sale October 17. Nepenthes lists these stores for questions: Nepenthes Tokyo, Osaka and Hakata, the three Nepenthes Woman stores in the same cities, and South2 West8 in Sapporo. The feature page does not mention online sales, raffles or a release time, and it does not say whether the collection will ship outside Japan, so check the Nepenthes and Needles sites and the brand's Instagram for updates before you plan around it.
